it's been a while since i've posted about something i've cooked, and this one's definitely worth posting about. credit goes to pioneer woman for the recipe, but i did put my own thigh-enlarging twist on it. it's a cookie recipe called "Spreads," and it goes like this:
1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. margarine, 1 egg, 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1 tsp. vanilla. totally standard. melt the margarine, mix in the brown sugar, and add everything else in there, too. spread the mix onto a greased cookie sheet about 1/4-1/2 inch thick and cook it at 350 for 15-20 (mine only needed 15). take it out and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top (i added butterscotch chips, too) and return to the oven for 1 minute. once it's done, take a knife and spread the melty chips evenly all over the place and cut into squares. it took me about 20 minutes from beginning to eating; way easy. tonight dave accused me of trying to fatten him up so other girls wouldn't look at him...in reality, it's just hard to not cook when i keep finding all these amazing recipes. although i don't mind keeping other girls jealous eyes off my hunky man.... just kidding, babe :)
