rose colored glasses

here's a little tidbit:
i am blind. blind as a bat.
i don't mean the writing on the white board is a little fuzzy, or it's hard to focus on books, when i don't have my contacts in.
i mean i can't see five inches in front of my nose!
and if i don't know where my glasses are before the contacts come out, i stand and holler for dave to help me find them (sorry, honey!).
last night i was seeing things au natural and it struck me how very lost i would be in this world without modern eyewear.
so thanks, mom, for having me in this century!
cause otherwise i'd be in seeeerious trouble.

oh, hey!

i think you're smart, pretty, and entitled to your own opinions.

i'd love it if the feeling was mutual!
