"In a time when nothing is more certain than change, the commitment of two people to one another has become difficult and rare. Yet, by its scarcity, the beauty and value of this exchange have only been enhanced."  -Robert Sexton

today is our 2 year wedding anniversary!
i put a lot more thought into my one year anniversary post than i did this one.
i guess year 2 didn't bring as many changes as year 1 did.
we stayed in the same apartment the whole year. we kept working the store. we kept going to school.
it was a great year, though!
i know it trivializes something when you talk about it too much, and i know i already talk about my husband a lot on here. i don't want to trivialize my marriage. so all i'll say is this: marriage is the greatest blessing in my life. it's not easy. you work at it every day, but you also grow closer every day. it's a wonderful thing to commit to the adventure of life with another person, and i'm so grateful to be committed to david.

"A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person."  -Mignon McLaughlin

i love you for time and all eternity.

  1. Aw. That's WAY sweet. You'll be the couple that are still in love well into your golden years. I'm happy for you, my darling daughter. May you be blessed with many happy years and may your teenagers be wonderful individuals that bring you nothing but joy.

oh, hey!

i think you're smart, pretty, and entitled to your own opinions.

i'd love it if the feeling was mutual!
