pullover! no, it's a cardigan, but thanks for noticing!

some people collect spoons or baseball cards or sea shells or life-size clown dolls.
i happen to collect cardigans.
david calls it cardiganitis. i call it love. i mean, i wear them every day. cardigans are an essential part of my existence (that was an exaggeration). i was straightening up my closet the other night and decided to photograph my extensive collection. it has, after all, been growing for about seven years...which makes me feel old to say. if you don't judge my cardigan obsession, i won't judge you for collecting life-size clown dolls, okay? deal.

in unrelated news, david ran to the grocery store a couple nights ago to grab some rice dream ice cream and light bulbs. i stayed at home (to, ahem, straighten up my closet). as he was walking out of the grocery store, some girl ran up and gave him this:
her number! i guess girls don't check for a wedding band anymore, huh?
we had a good laugh about it when he got home. i guess david's still got it!

  1. hahah ran up to him after he was gone? classy. Your closet is sending me into cardianic shock! good one right?

  2. i guess i forgot to check for wedding bands too... because i went to my first chemistry study group on thursday and realized that all three boys are married! oh well. i need to focus to get a good grade anyways.

  3. I just did the same thing - and cleaned out my closet! I had no idea I had an addiction to cardigans.. but I DO TOO!!!! AND - I am sure they are part of my existence, as well! hahaha.... Cheers!

  4. completely essential! cardigan + flats = best look ever!

  5. that's too funny about that girl giving your husband her number! haha! how cute.
And I love your cardigan collection. I don't own a SINGLE cardigan. I guess I should get one! :) It's just not very ideal to layer when living in humid Dallas and that's what cardigans are all about right? Layering!

  6. You're so cute about the situation, I would have been restraining myself to go hunt her down. ;)

  7. omgsh... so embarrassed..that note was totally from me!! i am so sorry!! i thought he was single dangit!

  8. I wear cardigans daily also. I don't know what I'd do without them.

  9. Husband? What was all that one in a million talk?

    North Meets South

  10. I have to tell you, that I love your funny blog post titles. they are my favorite.

And secondly, your cardigan obsession is very normal... (I MIGHT be another girl effected by the cardiganitis!)

  11. that's hilarious that she gave your husband her number. haha. seriously. how did she not notice the ring? ah well, he must be a good catch. also i am in awe (good awe) of your cardigan collection. i think mine is coming along nicely but i bow to yours. it's lovely.

  12. haha! that is hilarious. when we were engaged, some single freshman girl put a picture of him and her in profile picture and cropped everybody else out. we got a good laugh out of it.

  13. Sam thinks you ought to be the one to call her up - and mention that she gave the note to your husband and he didn't have a chance to call back - but could you help her with anything? Ha ha ha ha!

  14. After I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are
added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I receive four emails with the same comment.
There has to be an easy method you can remove
me from that service? Appreciate it!
