happy halloween, from this spooky little skeleton and i!
we went to a party this last weekend and got to see the cutest little parade of kids all dressed up. unfortunately, it was dangerously close to joony's bed time and his teeth are dangerously close to coming in, so we came home early. we still got to dress this guy up in his first costume ever, though, and squeal over how darn cute he looked! we're hoping we'll have trick-or-treaters for the first time this year, since we live in a community with families now instead of just college students.
fun halloween fact about me: aside from being weird horse girl growing up, i also had a strange obsession with pioneers (born from my love of kirsten, the swedish american girl doll). i had a full pioneer costume, complete with a bonnet my mom sewed me and leather boots, that i was extremely proud of. i wore it for two or three years in a row and probably looked ridiculous among my princess/power ranger classmates. i loved the costume so much that sometimes i wore it around the house (or, you know, the grocery store) for fun and recited random facts about pioneers. "the pioneers didn't have glass, you know, so they often made windows out of greased paper." what an obnoxious little thing i must have been.
anyways, have a happy and safe halloween!
why are you dressed so scary?
